BWL’s Education Committee hosted a riveting discussion about inequality in public schools in underserved areas. The diverse panel of legal experts, educators and child welfare advocates facilitated a dialogue on the unique needs of foster care children, differences in educational opportunity for less advantaged children, the unequal provision of school programs and issues influencing girls’ participation in sports.
