On Saturday, August 13th, BWL co-hosted and participated in the Restorative Justice Fair held by the Mayor’s Office of Reentry and Council District 9 (Curren Price). Attorneys from various bar associations and other non-profits worked in the legal clinic and donated their time to assist attendees with paperwork and processing of Prop. 47 expungements and Traffic Ticket Amnesty. Numerous people attended and many were well-served by this large-scale event. Many thanks and congratulations go to our Pro Bono Legal Services Committee Chair Gina Durham for her efforts in coordinating and participating in the justice fair that day. We also thank all the BWL members who attended and participated in the fair. It was a wonderful way to close out our bar year with a second pro bono legal services event!
