LACBA Bernard Witkin Lecture

The Los Angeles County Bar Association held its annual Bernard Witkin Lecture at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. This year’s lecture was delivered by Associate Justice Leondra Kruger of the California Supreme Court. Returning to her hometown of Los Angeles, Justice Kruger discussed her road to California’s highest Court, including her stints as Acting Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Solicitor General at the US Department of Justice and Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel. At only 38 years old, Justice Kruger is the youngest appointee to the California Supreme Court. Current BWL Board Members and Past Presidents were present to support Justice Kruger in her accomplishments.
