On March 9th, in the first of its kind, BWL hosted an intimate get together of members working in the downtown Los Angeles area for an impromptu coffee break/happy hour just to get to know each other, talk about our journeys and share tidbits on how to succeed as black women lawyers. An intimate group of young and seasoned lawyers and members of the bar gathered around to share their personal career experiences and learn from others. With no specific agenda, all topics were on the table, and we were able to have those closed-door conversations under the stars on the Nick ‘n Stef’s outdoor patio.
