On December 6, 2016, BWL, along with other local and state women bar associations, produced A Conversation with California Supreme Court Associate Justice Leondra Kruger. Justice Kruger, the second African American Women appointed to the California Supreme Court, is also the youngest justice to hold a seat on that Court. Justice Kruger spoke about her journey from Harvard University and Yale Law School, to her time at the Office of the Solicitor General, and her experience thus far as an Associate Justice on the California Supreme Court. A mother of two small children, she also spoke about how she manages her work-life balance on a daily basis.
