BWL Meeting & Community Forum

BWL held its November membership meeting at Audobon Middle School on November 19, 2015. We had record attendance at our community forum on education that night. Over 70 people attended our forum with a panel of experts on school choice in Los Angeles, including independent, parochial, private, and public school options. BWL extends sincere appreciation to the experts who spent much of their evening speaking as part of our panel and answering attendees’ questions. This forum was one of our major events of this year, focusing on part of our theme for the year – Planting the Seeds: Education & Inclusion for the Next 40. BWL is also grateful to the planning committee, in particular, Amber Finch, Carla Ford and Christine Wood, for their efforts in making the event a success.
