BWL + Langston: Holiday Party & Toy Drive (2015)

BWL and Langston held their annual Holiday Party and Toy Drive on December 12, 2015. We collected numerous toys and toiletries as well as monetary donations for the charitable organizations we support. The monetary proceeds from ticket sales to non-members will also be donated to charity. We celebrated those who were recently admitted to the California Bar and those who were promoted this year, including BWL’s Scholarship Selection Chairperson, Tracie Porter, who recently obtained tenure as a professor at Western State College of Law. Many thanks and congratulations to our Holiday Party Co-Chairs Jill Carter Melton and Pamela Dansby-Darden who did a fantastic job planning the event with Langston Holiday Party Chair Marie Maurice. As you can see from the photos, we had a great time eating, celebrating our colleagues, dancing to the great sounds of the DJ, and enjoying the holiday celebration!
