For its March General Body Meeting, BWL hosted a panel discussion of attorneys experienced in investigating, litigating, and advocating for victims of sexual harassment and assault. In the wake of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, panelists explored whether recent media spotlight on sexual misconduct has changed reporting practices or how employers are responding to allegations of misconduct. Attendees also had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Lois Lee Founder and President of Children of the Night. Dr. Lee shared her knowledge of the hidden world of sex trafficking and how we can collectively support victims in our communities. It was truly an informative evening!
