Saturday, October 1, 2016 – California State Bar awards BWL a Diversity Award at the 15^th Annual Diversity Awards Reception planned by the Council on Access & Fairness.  Past President Nicole Husband and President-Elect Demetria Graves were on hand to accept the award from COAF Chair and BWL Past President Marguerite Downing.  The reception was held during the State Bar’s Annual Convention and many bar association members, judges, and other attended the reception.  Congratulations to BWL and to the co-recipient San Fernando Valley Bar Association!
